Historical Tour of the University of Ottawa's Campus

In 1856, the College of Bytown moved from Lowertown to a piece of land on Wilbrod Street (Séraphin-Marion) in Sandy Hill, circa 1856. AUO, 38A-1-77

The University of Ottawa Archives organize historical tours of the campus. Come and discover the rich past of the University of Ottawa, North America's oldest and most important bilingual university, while walking across the campus.

The tour lasts about 1 hour and a half. Departure takes place in the front of Tabaret Hall, 550 Cumberland Street. The tour ends at the University's archives where many treasures are waiting to be seen. If you are interested in such a tour, form a group of five or more and call us.
