Histoire administrative
Les Services auxiliaires sont créés en 1970 sou l'égide du Vice-recteur (administration). Biens et administration, photocopie et reprographie, services de bureau et librairie en font partie. En 1982, les Services auxiliaires deviennent les Systèmes de communication ainsi ses tâches principales. Le service comprend : le Service des postes, les télécommunications-Centrex, la distribution de l'équipement audio-visuel et le Service technique. À partir des années 1990, le Service des communications devient une section du Service de l'informatique et des communications.

Le fonds contient des rapports annuels (1970-1975), des lettres circulaires des Services auxiliaires (1970-1984) et des annuaires téléphoniques perpétuels (1984-1989).

Administrative history
The Auxiliary Services are established in 1970 under the helm of the Vice-Rector (Administration). Properties and Administration, Photocopying and Duplicating Services, Office Services, and the University Bookstore are part of this division. In 1982, its name changes to Communications Services reflecting its mandate. It includes the Mail Services, the Telecommunications-Centrex, the Audio-Visual Distribution and Technical Services. In the 1990's the Communication Services becomes part of the Communication and Computer Services.
Scope and content
The fonds contains annual reports (1970-1975), Perpetual Telephone Directories (1984-1989) and Memos of the Auxiliary Services (1970-1984).
