Histoire administrative
En 1849, le Collège de Bytown était incorporé par le Parlement du Canada-Uni, créant ainsi la Corporation du Collège de Bytown qui devait devenir la Corporation du Collège d'Ottawa en 1861. La Corporation devait connaître d'autres changements en 1866, alors que le collège recevait une Charte universitaire. Après la publication, en 1931, de la constitution apostolique Deus Scientarum Dominus, qui réorganisait l'instruction catholique au niveau universitaire, l'Université a demandé que la Loi d'incorporation du Collège de Bytown soit remplacée par la Loi sur l'Université d'Ottawa, 1933. La dernière réunion de la Corporation du Collège d'Ottawa a eu lieu en septembre 1933.

Administrative history
In 1849, the College of Bytown was incorporated by the United-Canada Parliament, thereby creating the Corporation of the College of Bytown which became the Corporation of the College of Ottawa in 1861. The Corporation underwent further change in 1866 with the granting of a university charter to the College. Following the publication in 1931 of the apostolic constitution Deus Scientarum Dominus, which reorganized university-level catholic instruction, the University had the College of Bytown Act superseded by the University of Ottawa of 1933. The last meeting of the Corporation of the College of Ottawa took place in September of 1933.
