Administrative history

The Undergraduate English Students' Association exists since at least 1984 according to its oldest publication held by the Archives. The Association represents undergraduate students of the Department of English of the University of Ottawa. All undergraduate students registered in the Department are members. The Association aims to create a sense of community withtin the department by organizing various social activities, philanthropic activities and by publishing various publications and organizing literary competitions. Among the Association's publications we find Wordsworth, Notes from the Undergrad and the Ottawa Arts Review.

Scope and content

This fonds consists of records produced and used by the Undergraduate English Students' Association during its activities. We can find three series of records: Management, Publications and Social Activities. This fonds is mainly composed of publications by the Association, of publicity for its social activities and literary competitions.
