Administrative history
The Office of the ombudsperson was inaugurated on September 1st, 2010 at the University of Ottawa. Its mandate is to counsel and inform various parties in order to help them resolve conflicts and problems. The ombudsperson office is subject to a consultative committee composed of eight members, among whom four are nominated by the University, and four by student associations. The ombudsperson is not a member of the committee, but his work is evaluated by the committee once a year. The first ombudsperson nominated was Lucie Allaire, who began in this function in September 2010.
Scope and content
The fonds is composed of flyers and bookmarks produced by the Office of the Ombudsperson.
