Administrative history

Established by the Senate on January 10, 1966, the Committee on Undergraduate and Professional Studies examined the undergraduate and professional programmes and made recommendations to the Senate. Six sub-committees were formed between 1966 and 1972 to assist it. The Committee was abolished on January 8, 1973, along with the Design Group Committee, the Senate Task Force on Scheduling, and the Committee on Admissions. The functions of these committees were centralized in a new Council on Undergraduate Studies. The Committee has a triple role of supervision, co-ordination and planning of undergraduate studies programmes.

Minutes of the Committee on Undergraduate and Professional Studies and the Council on Undergraduate Studies and their sub-committees. Also includes report from the Comité ad hoc sur l'établissement d'un système de classement des étudiants du premier cycle à l'Université d'Ottawa.
