Administrative history

The Executive Committee of the Senate was established by the Senate on February 9, 1970. The Committee is composed of the Rector, the Vice-Rector (Academic), the Secretary of the University, and six members of the Senate. It receives requests made to the Senate, deals with them or refers them to the appropriate Senate committees receives and deals with Senate committees' reports; ensures that committees function properly; and submits to the Senate any recommendations it considers apt to contribute to the betterment of the University.
