Administrative history

The General Relief Committee is formed on December 8 to help the University replace the losses sustained in the December 2nd 1903 fire, than destroyed the main building of the University. The Committee is made, among other, of alumni and political figures.

Scope and content

The fonds contains pamphlets distributed by the General Relief Committee as well as negatives of images that are found in the pamphlets.

Immediate source of acquisition: Administrative Transfer.

Restrictions: Documents containing confidential and personal information are restricted to consultation and reproduction.The records are submitted to the Copyright's Act.
